Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both traditional and popular music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitar and renowned musician has described the sound of the new artist as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she got a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd full-length album. It included collaborations on songwriting with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022 as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
